Aero Asahi Corporation, one of Japan’s leading general aviation service providers, will introduce an AW169 light intermediate twin engine helicopter with a dedicated Agusta configuration into service. Aero Asahi is the first Japanese operator to use an exclusive VIP Leonardo helicopter in Japan under the relevant Agusta brand.

A distributor Agreement was signed at LABACE 2023 between Leonardo and Gruppomodena S.A. for the civil market in Uruguay and Argentina including, an order for two AW119Kx and an order for one AW109 GrandNew for a private operator in Brazil.
Two more AW109 light twin helicopters have been ordered by UK and Ireland’s regional distributor Sloane Over the last 12 months Leonardo registered total orders for nearly 15 Private/Corporate helicopters in the region.
