Our next-generation AW09 single-engine helicopter, featuring an exclusive Agusta VIP interior and paint scheme, has embarked on a dedicated roadshow across Europe.
From EBACE at the end of May, where the latest addition to the Agusta range was unveiled, to Monaco Yacht Show in September, the AW09 will be the absolute star of a series of events where the unique features and capabilities of this latest generation helicopter in corporate VIP transport configuration can be discovered.
EBACE 2024
At EBACE (Geneva, May 28-30), the unveiling of a full-scale cabin mock-up of the Agusta-branded AW09 marks the entry of the new model into the product range.
The model offers a unique combination of the single-engine segment's superior characteristics in terms of cabin space, technology and sustainability features with the outstanding customization, passenger experience and service characteristics of the Agusta VIP brand. New official distributors for Europe and Asia, announced during EBACE, are ready to expand the global market of the AW09, reaching the respective regions.
Le Bourget, Paris
The AW09 Agusta European tour has reached its second leg, landing in France. The AW09 mock-up, recently showcased at EBACE, is now at the Leonardo Part145 facility, at the Paris-Le Bourget airport.
Leonardo continues to strengthen its presence in France with this strategic support centre that opened in 2021 and now includes an Agusta lounge dedicated to welcoming customers in a comfortable environment.
The AW09 will arrive in France with Leman Aviation appointed as distributor for the area. The type will play a key role in the single-engine segment, bringing modernity and capabilities that competing products do not currently provide. Its Agusta version is the type of configuration that is very appealing for the French market.
Battersea, London
The AW09 Agusta European Roadshow has reached its third leg: London, and was presented to the British aviation community at Battersea Heliport. The response has been fantastic and everyone is looking forward to the arrival of the next generation helicopter.
Mr. George, Managing Director of Sloane Helicopters, officially appointed distributors of the AW09 in the UK and Ireland, along with other Leonardo helicopter types, is very confident of the future success of this new platform and has already begun negotiating initial contracts with end users.
The opening of the new Customer Support Center in London Elstree will allow to adequately serve the growing number of Leonardo customers in the area, to provide logistic and maintenance services for all helicopter types and to strengthen the collaboration with UK partners for after-sales support.
Monaco Yacht Show 2024
The AW09 Agusta Roadshow makes its final stop on the iconic French Riviera, arriving at the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the world’s premier superyacht events. In Monte Carlo the AW09 Agusta showcase the ultimate superyacht lifestyle, embodying cutting-edge technology, flexibility, and comfort.
With extensive experience in heli-deck operations, Agusta helicopters offer exclusive, tailor-made solutions for yacht and superyacht owners. The AW09 joins the Agusta range of helicopters, designed to fly swiftly and comfortably to yachts, enabling guests to easily travel from point to point—a true evolution in luxury transportation.
The Monaco Yacht Show also provided an ideal platform to celebrate the synergy between air and sea travel. Among the highlights was a special joint event with Riva, part of the Ferretti Group, renowned for its excellence in Italian nautical craftsmanship.
The AW09 Agusta European Roadshow concludes here, after visiting four remarkable destinations. Along the way, it attracted countless visitors and opened the door to exciting new business partnerships.
